How does this work?
An e-mail list server or news group consists of a group of subscribers or members with a common interest. All subscribers have joined the email list by submitting their email address to the list server, such as egroups. When a member sends or posts an email to the "list" (Pathassistants@yahoogroups.com ) the email message is relayed to each person (subscriber) on the list. Recipients can choose to reply to an email message, which is then again relayed to each subscriber of the list. A thread is created when multiple subscribers respond to an initial message. Many news groups like this one have one or two subscribers who act as moderator and monitor the email activity and content of the email messages, with the option of intervening or banning disruptive subscribers. Other features include the ability to view and search all previous messages or "posts" using the Internet. Visit the Pathassistants Yahoo groups page at http://groups.yahoo.com/Pathassistants
